i think i love my bass clarinet :)
okay so technically it isn't mine at all, (tis the SCHOOLS!) & i can hardly play it, considering nobody's really taught me yet. mr lee asked me to practice on the mouthpiece & stuff, that's pretty much all the guidance i've gotten so far, but i've had lots of fun trying out notes and although i can only play like a few random notes here and there, its so kool. went to ebay for fun just now and saw GREEN and BLUE clarinets which looked really interesting. shall consider getting a red or white one if it's reasonable ... hm. but then i cant play anything! whee im just a money squanderer.

practiced quite a bit today. band was having national day prac which im not involved in at all, so i didn't go for band, but stayed in class to chill out with teh bass clarinet! liza was great company and i think by now she's probably sick of hearing the same tunes and scale over and over again, im sorry but thats all i know how to play haha! i actually managed to prac from 3 - 6, with about half an hour in between which involved looking for teachers and running around trying to avoid the band people (i dont know why i wanted to avoid them but i guess it'd be awkward). but we ended up strutting right in front of them when they were practicing on the third floor overlooking the hall, because we thought they'd be in the hall and stuff. twas really amusing.

my attendance for band is like going to become 0% soon. but the thing is i spend the band time practising my bass clarinet, i just dont go into the band room for national day pracs, and forget the time to go back to the band room when its time for announcements and stuff. quite stupid, really. met cynthia on 171 today when i was on my way to newton mrt station to get to city hall mrt station to get to vch to watch rgs dance concert! she's our drum major (and i have no idea what a drum major does, but its one of the exco positions) who plays the saxophone. she knew my name! which is strange yet kool, and she seemed really nice :) well actually everyone i've talked to in band so far is nice, lol.

meanwhile i absolutely cant wait for my ordered stuff from sheetmusicplus to come! SQUEE.

sorry this entry is so painfully boring, but im not very alive right now. dont like having to write a zuowen, do lang arts time trial and chem spa on the same day! sigh. have a nice day anyways! will try to be more engaging tomorrow :)
